Thread: Help. Help. Help!

Hi,
Im new to this. For two nights in a row I have been trying to WILD. I try sleeping for 5-6 hours and then staying awake for like an hour, then commensing. I inhale and count up then exhale and say "im dreaming". While doing this I am concentrating on the counting and the "im dreaming". I go up to around 400 and never experience and hypnogogic images or sounds. SO. What should I work on? Also what do the sounds sound like? While experiencing the hypnogogic images and sounds what do I do? I hope some of you guys can help.

Welcome to the forum Lambobull . Ok my advice is to not bother doing the WILD technique until you have had a few lucids. Mainly because WILD is one of the most hardest techniques to do and tends to put newbs off because they can't do it. I'd recommend you first attempt the WBTB method with a MILD.

WILDs are really hard to master. Many people can go weeks practicing the technique before it works for them. Like NeAvO said, try some easier techniques first and get a few lucids under your belt before you try the WILDs.
