hey everyone, I just heard about Lucid dreaming from a friend who had one, so I researched it and came here. Im just trying to learn how to have lucid dreams every night (if thats possible?). anyway, my dream recall really isnt that great, I can remeber usually one dream a night, but its usually a fragment of it. but yea I just have some questions. I usually dont remeber certain dreams until way later in the day, when something that was in my dream comes up in real life, and it just comes to me. that makes it hard for me to write it down when I wake up, does anyone have any advice for me?

ahhh....
welcome to dv. this place is the shiz.
my first piece of advice is to go pick of Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming by Stephen LaBerge (if you havent already). This book will answer many of your questions and is very interesting and will help probably help you a ton with recall and what not. the advice i can give to you is to just keep trying to remember dreams. set an alarm if you have to. but eventually you will get in a groove where you will be able to remember 3 or 4 dreams a night!! so good luck and have fun.

Oh ok, I'll make sure to get that book, I know it is refrenced in most of the information I have read about Lucid Dreams. But yea I have been able to remeber 2 dreams in a night before, because I told my self the night before "I will wake up after each dream and remeber it completely" and it worked, but just not consistently. anyway, thanks for the advice =)

Hey enix7 and welcome to the forum

Well to get better dream recall I'd suggest you start a dream journal, basically when you wake up just sit down for a few minutes and tryto concentrate on what you were dreaming, anything you can remember from events, scenery or even emotion. Dream Journals help with recognizing your dream signs too, this helps you to realise you are dreaming. There's even a Dream Journal forum on here, incase you want to share your dreams.

Also I'd recommend that you do Reality Checks as well as they help you to question your surroundings and hopefully work out your dreaming.

These plenty of information in the Tutorials Section if you need more information. Don't be afraid to ask questions if you're stuck either.

Well good luck and have fun see you around.
