One thing that has shown up in my dreams lately is video games. Counter-Strike in particular. I was wondering if this would be good to do a reality check on. Although I am skeptical because it isn't always CS and ofcourse there are different settings in each game. This would only be one of the many reality checks I will do once I get some more dreamsigns.

That is my dreamsign too! I always am like, "I'm am playing [insert game here]" I've only realized it once though, I hope you have better luck.

Put it this way: Anything that occurs in your dreams on a regular basis is prime fodder for a dream-sign. Of course, things that only occur in dreams are your best bets. But anything that reminds you to check whether you're dreaming or not is to your benefit.

You can test your game by pausing and reading the text of the pause menu, looking away then returning your gaze to the screen. Other tests - such as trying to enter the game world or imagining the game in holographic form - may work for you. Be creative.

One thing I didn't think of before when viewing this post was the fact that I am not dreaming about playing the game, I am inside it. Therefore I cannot do that pause menu RC because it is real life, not a game and real life doesn't have a pause menu.

I've had loads of third person game dreams....And about the pause thing, it's not a bad idea: try pausing in real life and if you can pause it means you are dreaming....

Try RCing the moment you think about games, play games, watch people play games etc. Then when you are inside the game, it would surely trigger something in your brain to say: "Hmmm... Better do a reality check!"

I often have this in my dreams.. but when I'm playing a real computer game I never think about anything but the game and wouldn't remember to RC. Skiing is a more common dreamsign for me so I use that more

I've had several video game dreams where I was in the game. One was a really cool Tomb Raider dream with the pixelated texturing of the old PS1 versions. Too bad I was never lucid in any of them.

I had a CS:S dream where I was being chased by gay terrorists and they were trying to rape me.

When ever you see/ think about or play on a video game. Whether its the same genre as the games in your dream or not. Do a Reality Check. After a while this will cause your mind to question reality and make you do reality checks when this dream sign pops into your dreams.

      Hope that helps

This is very good if you have that as a dreamsign. Do some more reality checks when you play this game or when you think of it. Sooner or later you'll become lucid.
