Well, there's always been this thing with my friend that she could always remember her dreams really well, but for me, i get one a night at most, and thats not every day But talking about it a week or so ago, I basically found out from her that she feels "concious" in her dreams! Which are completly different to what I get....

So after a bit of searching on the net, I found this place! And now have the intention of trying to get myself having a Lucid Dream sometime soon hopefully

For anyone who's interested, my name is Pete, and i'm an 18 year old Biology student from the United Kingdom, so a big Hello to everyone here!

And actually, thinking back, theres been this one moment thats stuck in my mind, where I think that I was concious for about 2 seconds, before snapping back into the dream. Unfortunatly thats my only experiance so far!

      Welcome Pete!

Lucid Dreaming is amazing... good luck with having one
The most important thing when starting is to keep a dream journal, so start keeping one if you don't already have one. Also have a look at the tutorial forum of the site. WBTB and MILD are two fairly straightforward methods to attempt a lucid dream.

      Thanks Lord T!

I've got a notebook open by my bed, just hope I remember when I wake up!

After reading about everything, think i'll go for MILD technique for now, suits my sleeping patterns, as I do tend to get woken up pretty often (live in halls of residence at university, and my housemates can be quite loud at night, especially when Alcohol is involved...)
