Hello all.
It was almost a godsend that I found this website lol.
The name is Josh. I am 20.
I stumbled upon this website looking for some information about lucid dreaming. LD's are new to me, as a matter of fact, I just found out about them. The fact that having semi-control over my dreams and not to mention contol over myself in them, amazes me. The limits are endless. I guess the reason that I want to become a lucid dreamer, is the fact that I can run life scenarios over and over again changing little aspects of what I say and or do until I am comfortable with the one I have then acting it out in waking life. Being able to fly. To have these powers that you only see in movies such as The Matrix, Underworld, The Covenant, and so many others, simply puts me in awe whenever I think about it.
Not only those reasons, but also for spiritual enlightenment. I am Wiccan. It would be wonderful to meet all of my spirit guides and to talk with them. To put a little mugwort and patchouli oil on my pillow and possibly prophesi for my own spiritual growth. To be able to maybe meet other Wiccans that may be drifting about in the spirit world that one may possibly reach. To divinate. These things and so much more enthuse me and continue to make me push to become lucid.
I just wanted to give you all a little information about myself and what makes me so enthused about the subject and lucid dreaming. I look forward to speaking and discussing with a few of you and hope to make some new friends.

Well if she or anyone else has any questions, feel free to PM me as well as just post it on the forum. And If I don't have an answer, I would be more than happy to do some research. It will provide you with an answer as well as extend my own knowledge.

Welcome Josh.

I'm glad that you find lucid dreaming so exciting. Although its great to have powers like in 'The Matrix', lucid dreaming is qutie different. The truth is, although you will probably forego a quite a bit of consciousness, lucid dreaming is more than just another world where you are free to do what you want. There are many amazing things besides the actually dreaming that will lead to feel things you probably have never felt before. There is also a lot of fun to be had trying out new things, documenting your results, and interacting with the community.

I am from South Africa
