Hi there.Earlier this week I discovered this site along with LD4all and have become interested in LD alot. I have been doing the various techs now for 5 days and while I haven't achieved LD yet I think I'm starting to get there here's a few results so far:

      1. My dream recall so far has been quite good.Last night(actually all in early morning around 06:30) I had three pretty vivid ND's. I can remember alot from them(like entire scenes and what DC's said to me) which I think is a encouraging sign. i think I've always had fairly good recall but never thought much about it until now.

      2. I've downloaded a trance induction mp3 that I listened to in bed on earphones the first two nights. I was able to relax my body using this mp3 until I had achieved I think a mild form of SP. I couldn't feel my arms at all and my legs felt as if they had become melded together. Also I felt extremely heavy. This took about 30 minutes to reach this state. I didn't see any HI but I think i might have heard a few weird sounds. Unfortunately I couldn't go any farther than this and must have fallen asleep. After the first two nights my relaxation tech was good enough that I didn't need the mp3 anymore but still couldn't get beyond the SP stage.

3.I nearly achieved LD last night.I woke up around 07:00 from a dream and went straight back into my sleep hoping for the WBTB method to work. I began thinking of the dream I just had and tried to get myself back into the last scene of it. Unfortunately I didn't quite work and I fell to sleep again and just had a ND.However in the ND I had I was with a group of my friends and I can distinctly remember telling them about this cool thing I heard called LD and the ability to control my dreams using it.Their reactions were pretty much "yeah right man, whatever" pretty much indifference. After I woke up from this dream I was kicking myself that I hadn't realized it was a dream when I was actually talking about LD's and how cool it would be to get one to my friends in my ND. Just a question. Is it possible I actually was in a LD just a very low level one seeing that I was actually talking about LD in my dream?

Anyway I think I've made some good progress in my first week in finding out about LD and hope I'll get there eventually. Hopefully, the people on this board will give me a hand in achieving my goal.

      Cheers and sweet dreams!

      Welcome to the forum antistar

Well its seems like you are on top of things, and you seem to be making good progress like you say. You said you have good recall, did you make a Dream Journal or has your recall just become good?

Well nearly having a LD is good, lets just make it a proper LD.

Well have fun and feel free to ask questions.

Thanks for the encouragement. I am keeping a DJ.Its just a sentence or so per dream. I think thats enough.I'm able to recall most of the dream from just reading that sentence or so.

Also,I'm considering tonight on using B6 vitamins (100mg dose) before I go to sleep and see what will happen. do you think thats a good idea or should I wait until I get my first LD until I start taking supplements?

With dream journals, the more the better. it's okay to write sentences and then write them up fully, but just doing just a sentence seems to damage the vividness of recall, which kind of defeat the point.

B6 can be nice, but it's really quite pointless, just stick with what you're doing until you get an LD. You seem to be quite good anyway, B6 should really be used I think, for people in a rutt.

Good job. Well the thing to remember is that you shouldn't get discouraged. You gotta be patient. It sounds like you already got some fantastic results so it will pobably be easier for you then some others. Anyway there really are so many resources here, so you'll be on your way if you want
