help from all who wish to help

Heya all, I'm verrrry new to everything here. I've always been interested in dreams and have quite a good interpretation of their meanings which is why alot of my friends come and ask for help from me when they have weird dreams they can't explain. Recently though Lucid dreaming has come to my attention and it seems sooooo interesting. I'd love to be able to expand the limited abilities I have so that I could properly experience lucid dreaming and so would LOVE for any more tips you could all give me. I've read the web page but have gotten myself nowhere with it. I just need to know what I should be doing. I've tried the naps and the dream recall and setting alarms etc but nothing has worked! HELP! Please! Joexxx

Hey welcome. I see we are getting over run by the British here recently.

It sounds like you are having trouble with dream recall. My first suggestion is that you start a dream journal. This is probably the single most important step towards becoming a lucid dreamer. Just keep up with the journal for a while and you'll notice your recall will increase dramatically.

As for LD itself. Try the MILD and WILD methods listed in the tutorial. Good luck.

      WELCOME!!!!

If you are done with the site then I suggest you move on to the tutorials. They show you some other methods you can use to achieve lucidity as well...

All you have to do is find the one that fits you best...

The dream journal is also going to be a great helping element in your quest towards lucidity.

      Good Luck!

I call it the beginners luck technique. Before your mind gets to involved with the complications of Lucid dreaming and all of the tecniques. Simply tell yourself when you are going to sleep -(that you are going to recognize that you are dreaming). Don't get to involved about the whole thought process other than the simple fact that you must remember to realize you are having a dream. Repeat this so it is the last thing on your mind before you go to sleep. Think of only this, Do not let your mind wonder, Focus on remembering as you would remebering to get a birhtday card for whomever.

      Good Luck

Anyway...have you checked out the TUTORIALS FORUM? It can really help. Also you might want to be adopted...

don't know the reason for the smiley face, just thought the upper lip was funny and it kinda reminds me of the twitches I get in my lip when I get reallly nervous! Aww the amusement!
