Mornin all, I just found this site, and being a lucid dreamer myself, i couldnt help signing up, i have a ton of questions to ask and im sure this is the right place. Just thought I'd say hi and introduce myself. About Me : My name is Luke, im 22 and have been studying lucid dreams ever since i saw "waking life" about a year ago. Since I started, i have become quite proficient in the art of WILDing, tho i still havnt gained complete control over my dreams. First dream : was awesome... the most amazing experience ive had so far, even tho it only lasted for a few seconds... i was walking through a big city when i passed this girl... i looked back, and for some reason i realised i was dreaming. It hit me so suddenly, I felt like I had been sucked into myself and all of a sudden everything was crystal clear and I was fully aware of my surroundings and got so excited, I woke up. Dissapointing, but it was a start. Since then i have been having them fairly regularly, depending on whats going on in my life... i still cant induce them at will, but when its about to happen, i know because i generally get sleep paralysis. From that point, i usually get the sensation of leaving my body and walk outside, and into the dream. Anyways... ill be sure to keep posted I have lots of questions, so i guess il see you round.

OMG !! I been wondering what that feeling was. Many times I would feel the same way as you Razor - with the sleep paralysis thing then the sensation of leaving my body, but every time it would happen, I would become scared and cancel it out by screaming. This happens on average about 3 times a week for me and I am thinking that maybe this "lucid dreaming" may be what was happening. After reading this, I think I might not cancel the next one out. I am curious now. thx got lots of reading to do about this stuff so.. ja~na P.S. how do i post a img to my Sig.. is it the [img][/img] code ??

hey welcome fellas, dark_violet_knight and Autumn Razor by the looks of it you both sound like uve got good abilities with Wild induction, why not try Astral Projection or similarly called Out of body Experience? Ive got good information on it although im at college so dont have access atm.....but pm if ur interested k!!

Thx everyone for the help and umm.. maybe I didnt read enough cause I have no idea what a Wild Induction is, but I will read more so? Xisdence bout that Astral Projection stuff.. I think I will try that out maybe after I can understand whats going on with this lucid dream stuff. OH and apparently I got the IMG code right but free angelfire or yahoo is not able to host images, goona go find another one that will.

Hey thanx very much guys, I feel welcome already However... in response to the astral projection thing, ive tried it and didnt like my experience, to be honest, it felt so incredibly wrong, ive decided never to do it again. I think ill just stick with dreaming and try to gain more lucidity. Any suggestions as to how i would go about doing that?
