Okay, I discovered lucid dreaming online and find it completely fascinating. I'm really excited about trying to have one that I can remember and know the basics... pretty much. I have been working on improving my dream recall by keeping a dream diary and doing RCs throughout the day since I know that will help. I'm not sure if it makes a difference but I am about 15 years old and female without any sleeping problems.
<div align="center">First, my dream recall isn't very good. I can only remember one dream at most per night and I do not wake up during the night at all unless something is unusual (i.e. nightmare, bathroom, loud noise, etc.). Mind you, I've only been trying this for about the past four days.
The next topic is my big one: SP. I am really scared of having SP or OBE. My question is if it is possible to die from either?
Can some people not be able to lucid dream or at least induce them on their own? I know it can take a day, weeks, or months; however, I'm really curious how long the average person takes.
Lastly, what technique to induce lucid dreams is best for a newbie? I am really hesitant to try WILD because of the SP problem associated with it.</div>
If anyone has any tips or advice for me, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks so much.
Nikki.
