      Hey i'm new and don't get it!!!

      I started lucid dreaming last week!
      i have already had 2 dreams where i was able to realise i was in a dream but snapped out of it! i have been working on my dream recall and usually i get 3 dreams a night (came after practice, and my body naturally wakes up after REM periods)


      Anyway can someone explain to me the Adoption concept?
      is it kind of like training or something?
      i have no idea at all on the meaning of this!
      but i feel great to be in a new forum! it looks exciting!!
      Can't wait to explore!!!

      The adoption thing was created so that new members could have a little more one-on-one help from older and more experienced forum members.

      It seems to work well for some. For others, it is a means of getting to know someone better on a social level.

      If you would like for someone to adopt you, please make a post in Newbie->Adopt Me.

      List what your interests and goals are, and include some information about yourself.

      Hello Amigo_bandito or should I say friend bandit. Thats a strange combination. Anyway welcome to Dreamviews! =)

      And I think it's great that you wake up directly after REM. You can get excellent dream recall that way. I wouldn't change it if I were you.

      You should go and post in the Adoption thread like Seeker said, and then people will be able to see you want to be adopted.

      Not only that, but you can also visit the "Looking for a newbie to adopt" thread to find potential adopters. You can PM the person that you wish to have adopt you...(just don't post there )
