Hey, I have been trying to have lucid dreams for about a month and a half now but I have yet to experience a lucid dream. My dream recall has gotten really good, better then I thought possible, My dreams are now really intricate stories, instead of fuzzy vague details, and I usually have 3 to 4 dreams a night. Also I make sure to do relaxation excersises and keep lucid dreaming in mind before I fall asleep. I'm confused about dream signs tho, the only dreamsign I could find is kind of vague, its that familiar buildings look like a totally different place, does this mean that I should do reality checks during the day when I see a strange building? also In my dreams I feel a lot more concious then I used to, but I still cant realize I am dreaming, I even woke up in a dream, and did my normal daily activities. does anyone maybe have some advice for me? I mostly think I need help with reality checks during the day that correspond to my dreamsigns. oh and Im trying to obtain lucidity in my dream with the MILD technique.

you should really try the FILD, it gave me my first ever controllable lucid and it was easy. theres a turotial or somthing on it. you should do reality checks, but everytime you do them, look around and be awar of everything, and when you see strange buildings do it. it'll probobly help. sometimes it takes a while to have your first lucid. i just had all my dreams (4) last night be lucid and i didnt do anything to induce them. if you don't already, take breaks every once in a while.

      Cool

      Hi,

Yes give FILD a shot - it is the only 'technique' that has given me an LD.

What RC are you doing? I like to RC by counting the fingers on my hand and checking solidity - I am always
going to have my hand with me right It works very well Sometime when you don't want an LD to happen
so much and you relax you get one!

      Good Luck,

      Namaste

Do a lot of RC's to get yourself in the habit. Like 20 or so a day. This habit soon carries over to your dreams. And work on FILDs, they're one of the easiest to learn and master.

I see, well usually I just try to do the plugged nose RC whenever I see anything strange during the day. But for the FILD method, I understand most of it, but when I am attempting this method, do I visualize my fingers playing the piano? Or do I just try to keep my mind blank?

Well the time it takes for people is always different, some people take days where others take months. You have good recall which shows you are improving, just keep it up along with reality checks and you should get there eventually!

      Good luck and get dreaming
