First off hello I have been here for about 3 days and have recorded my dreams and I found I recoded 3-4 a night. But about half of them are in 3d person and I’m not really in the dream at all it’s like I’m just an invisible camera floating there watching and recoding the dream. I was just wondering is this a type of dream other people have because I have been looking around and seen nothing about this kind of dream.

I have dreams in 3rd person from time to time. I notice that when I become lucid it switches to 1st person. Oh, Welcome!

I used to have those when I was younger. Maybe you could use that to induce lucid dreams, try to remember that whenever you see yourself from a 3rd person perspective, you're dreaming. Good luck, and welcome to DV

The thing is I never see myself in 3d person. In the dreams where it is 3d person I’m not in it altogether besides being to see the dream charters doing stuff.

Hey there, welcome. I get 3rd person dreams from time to time too. It is possible to switch to first person when you get lucid, but it's also quite fun to just meanipulate the characters too. 3rd person dreams are a good dreamsign mind.

I have some dreams in third person time to time. Is it normal to have most of your memories in 3rd person?

I guess that since you're not there anymore your mind can create a 3rd person image when you remember something, just like in a dream. Maybe that depends on how you remember it.

Yeah, I've had 3rd person dreams every so often. Sometimes I am in the dream; other times I am nowhere to be found. Its perfect for inducing lucids. I've used the method countless times.

Haven't had any 3rd person dreams in a while, though.

Okay, i think he means hes spectating his dreams.

You need better recall to determine that. I used to think that, but upon increasing recall, i found i do think to myself in dreams. If thats what you mean of course.
