A YEAR? Man... Poor guy. It took me 3 days. Keep trying, youll get there!

Well, It depends. My last dream felt about 10 minutes. This mornings dream felt like... This mornings dream felt like 15 minutes. But it depends. I had a dream once that felt it lasted for an hour. Fact is, I was sleeping for 15 minutes.

Hey, first of all, welcome to Dreamviews, you've picked a great place to ask that question.

As for the answer, if I had to give a specific answer, it would last almost as long as a single one of your natural REM cycles, which is about 20-30 minutes. But as you said, depending on the dream, it may seem a lot shorter, or longer then that.

Most importantly, keep trying, and good luck.

If it's been a year, there are some problems. You should try a different method, or take a break for a while. Seriously...

It's your mindset. You are thinking lucid dreaming is too hard, clearly. And if anything, try WILD. It's guaranteed results as long as you have a LOT of dedication. Personally, I can't stand saying in the same position for hours at a time. But if you are dedicated enough, I say go for it.
