Yo! I'm a newbie, to this site at least. I've read some books on lucid dreaming, and I've come close, but never had a bona-fide lucid dream, and I'm really worried I'm not able to (which may actually be my problem.) Anyway, I've got two questions:
1. Is it possible that I'm incapable of lucid dreaming?
2. Will someone be my 'lucid friend'? We could talk daily or weekly on AIM about our progress, I think it'd really help keep me focused. If anyone's interested (I couldn't care less about how advanced a dreamer you are,) I'll be on AIM at slightlyinsane24.

Well, I'm pretty psyched about finding this forum, I've got a billion ideas of what to do when I have full control of my dreams. Hope to make some friends soon.

I think you just need to find the right inducing technique. Try WILD. You need to be persistent in your attempts for LDing and never think that you just can't do it.

Feel free to PM or Email or IM me with any questions.

Hi there and welcome to the forum

1) Yes you can have a lucid dream, you just need to put the effort in to having one. Think of LDing as a sport, you need to practise it to get better/ have one.

2) There's an Adoption Program here where you can be taught how to lucid dream and have PM conversations with people, or even exchange email/MSN/AIM stuff. BUT you have to be a member for ATLEAST 2 weeks.
There's also a unofficial chat at www.irc.kaniaz.com, how ever they don't talk about LDing.

Yup, NeAvO said it all! Anyone can LD, and its likely that you have and just don't know/remember it. As for the adoption program, sign up after 2 weeks to get some one-on-one personalized help with someone who can help! In the meantime, there are many people who can still help you and answer any of your LDing questions such as our many Dream Guides (Thats us with the green stars! ). If you need anything be sure to ask on the board or drop me or another DG a PM!

We'll be happy to help!
