As soon as you wake up, think about your dream. THE SECOND YOU WAKE UP!!!!!! |
|
Also, keep a Dream Journal. It really helps. Serioiusly, keep paper and pencil beside your bed and record it as soon as you wake up. |

When I joined and I kept a journal I can now remember 2-3 dreams per night now. But I can't get LD's just yet but I gotta keep trying |

Dreams are kind of fickle that way. Think about it this way: you used to remember your dreams, so you know you've got the ability. I've found that trying too hard can be just as disastrous as not trying hard enough. So just relax for a few days, do a few RCs, just don't get too worked up. Usually calming down, but still making a conscious effort, is enough to get me back on track. Dream journals rock as well, keep one next to your bed. No worries! |

I've been keeping a DJ for about a month now. I could never remember my dreams, not ONE before I started keeping a journal, and now I'm remembering 2 or 3 per night. I've yet to experience a LD though... |

thx guys, i can remember my dreams now, it just takes like 5-30 minutes for me to remember some of my dreams |
|
I have trouble recalling an entire dream because I have so many. I have AT LEAST 3 dreams a day. Its like watching to many episodes of different shows in random order. It's difficult to remember what you watched first or even second. |
|
I'm very new to this concept, and I don't know how to wake myself up in time to write my dreams down. I won't be able to use the alarm clock trick (the people I live with will kill me) and the "water drinking" trick is too unreliable. |

LD n00b.
Do you remember any dreams? What happens when you wake up? Next time you wake up try to watch what happens. Write a note on your bedside table or something to remind you. There must be a point when you realise you are awake and then open your eyes, to check the time or whatever? The trick is very simple really - as soon as you realise you are awake - open your eyes and reach for your dream journal, don't think about anything else. Work backwards from the last thing you do remember - more will follow without a doubt. And it will get better very quickly. It even seems like your unconscious mind appreciates that you are making the effort to listen to it and rewards you with big dreams. Its the best LD induction method too - with no other methods needed IMO. |
