I'm not too new, but this seemed to fit here best...
I had never had a false awakening to my knowledge, until a few nights ago where I believe I had at least 2. Is it a good sign for lucid dreaming if you start experiencing stuff like this when you never had before?

If it starts happening on a regular basis, then it can definitely be a great dream sign. It may have been a one time thing, but I guess it never hurts to do a reality check when you wake up, just to be sure. You can just do something really simple like looking at your hands, holding your nose, or trying to fly with your mind.

As for me, I've only had one or two false awakenings that I can remember, so I really don't bother to do any RCs when I wake up.

Yes, I'd say it's a very good sign.

For me FAs and LDs are very closely related because they either make me lucid or happen during lucid dreams.
I also never have single FAs they always last about 10-30 seconds and then start over again, it's like being caught in a time warp.
