Smile I thought i was all alone!

      Hello Everyone.
I found this site last night, while i was googling "dreams", because, ever since i was a kid, ive felt that i dream differently than other people. I finally decided to look on the internet for some answers.
Maybe i am in the wrong place, i dont know..bare with me!
      So..heres my story...
Ever since i was young, i can remember my dreams perfectly. Everything in my dreams feel extremly real. Real enough that when i awoke from these dreams, i would look around for whatever was in my dream , cuz i literally thought it was real. For a little while now, ive noticed that when i am dreaming, i am AWARE that i am doing it. Usually, when i go to sleep, i think about something i want to dream about...and then instantly i can start playing with it...i think i am awake...but im not, because i can wake up. That sounds sooo weird..but its true. So...lately..ive been having so much fun dreaming..because i can control it all. Dream about whatever i want..move stuff around...maybe it sounds unreal to people..but i swear im not lying!
Also...this sounds really strange..im warning you lol..
So...about 2 years ago...i kept having this dream about going to see my friends who lived in a different province. Everynight i dreamt about reuniting with them...but each night was different. I used to always play it out in my dreams...even tho i knew it would never happen because i just couldnt afford it. And then...my family got posted back home, and i got to see them..and when i actually seen them..it was played out exactly like one of my dreams. Am i crazy? lol.
Ive also done that a few times...dreaming about something,...and then it eventually happens...
Am i super crazy? lol..maybe im over reacting? i dont know..i am coming to you all for answers! lol..
My mom tells me even when i was little, i used to love going to sleep (unlike many other children) because i used to love dreaming...And now, i still love doing it...
Can anyone help me out? Am i super crazy? haha, thanks all
      Lissy.

First off, welcome to Dream Views!

Many people seem to feel that they are alone when they have these amazing dream abilities. The truth is, there are thousands of people (if not millions) who are naturally able to do things like Lucid Dreaming.

That being said, I've never quite heard of someone having that many "dream abilities" come naturally. To be able to have great Recall, Lucid Dreams, Dream Control, and to be able to incubate dreams (choosing what you dream about) naturally is something I desperately wish I had.

Well, i guess it comes naturally..but i have been practicing alot since i was little...playing around with it and stuff.

I have found that I am also able to do this to an extent. However, usually getting up and walking around ruins it. I just reach over my bed, write down what's happened so far in my Dream Journal, and go back to sleep into the same dream (or incredibly similar)

I think some people generally have more talent when it comes to dreaming then others.

You were born with a gift, and that gift might exceed the normal constraints of a human to the point that you can dream things to come.

*To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but believe.
*Dream no small dreams, because they have no power to move the hearts of men.
*You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one, I hope someday you will join us, and the world will live as one.

WILD stands for Wake Induced Lucid Dreams. If what you say in your first post is true, then you won't have to worry about ever performing it.

Basically, you attempt to retain conciousness during the transition to dream by attempting to trick your body into thinking your mind is asleep when it really isn't. This is done by remaining COMPLETELY still (minus the small twitches that are impossible to stop and part of the process), and concentrating on something, but not thinking too hard, if that makes any sense.
