First of all, thank you guys for answering my previous question.

Well, I am not going to start a new thread, because the question is pretty much the same (yeah, I know that I am a bloody fucking n00b, but I am just so excited about LD and I need to know every possible chance to LD verified or whatever).

Once again, I wake up after about 6 hours of sleep, remembering nothing. And I try to go to sleep again.

This time I dream ABOUT lucid dreaming - this mean that in my dream I try to LD. So I am trying to fall asleep (in my dream) and I notice that there is a spider under my pillow and more spiders appear. At this point I realize that this is impossible and I must be dreaming. So, I wake up - this means that I wake up in my dream. Damn, I was dreaming in my dream. Now I know that I am awake - even when I am fighting with spiders using a gun.

But before fighting with the spiders, when I was so sure that I am awake, because I had just woken up, I thought about making a reality check. Unfortunately, I didn't do it.

So the question is - if I had done a reality check, would it have worked, because I was so sure that I was already awake?

To eliminate "Deciding" if your dreaming our not, you form the habit and DO a RC(Reality Check)

With this, let me explain what may have happened if you had done an RC:

So in that dream Mickey Rourke wants to fuck me . And I am running away from him and it is like really hard to run. At that point I ask myself "Is it dream?" And right after that I plug my nose and try to breathe. I can! I become Lucid and change Mickey Rourke into Pamela Anderson and stop running...and then.................

      You get the point

And dreaming about dreaming/lding is pretty common. Its happened to me many a time. I find myself in my bed, trying to go to sleep and become Lucid, yet I'm already dreaming.

If you had a good habit formed you could have done an RC at any point and realized you were already dreaming and became Lucid.

Practice! You're on the verge of a good thing
Lucid Dream Count: N/A (3-7 a week average)

      Current Goal(s): Master dream control/length, Master WILD'ing

Have no fear; For the power behind you is greater than any problem ahead of you.

I've done the exact same thing as you WeaZel. The other night, I had a dream that I was in bed trying to lucid dream. I fell asleep in my dream, and suddenly it was like watching a movie. I saw HEAPS of dream signs - my brain was telling me that the movie was a LD. Like....this clock suddenly changed time, this man's arms turned into wooden legs. The whole works.

I remember clearly thinking. "Wow - whoever is having this dream is lucid dreaming!" Then I woke up into my original dream, a little confused. Then I awoke for the second term (into reality) and kicked my own ass thoroughly.

Can't believe I dreamed I was lucid dreaming and did even end up having a ludic dream. Just goes to show you have it on your mind though as you dream - soon you will have a proper one.

Assuming the reality check is one that usually works well for you, it would almost certainly tell you that you're dreaming. I've had false awakenings that were completely indistinguishable from being awake, and reality checks still told me I was dreaming. Sure, it's a little harder to convince yourself in that kind of state, but not so hard that you don't become lucid after two or three reality checks.

Welcome! You were definitely right on the precipice of lucidity there. A little more practice and you'll be successful. It's absolutely amazing when you have your first. You finally prove to yourself that is really is possible and not just the tall tales of others who want to sound cool. Not that you seem to have any doubt, mind you

Well, I am sorry if I offended you somehow with the use of that word, but I just am this kind of person, who uses that word on daily basis.

I'm not offended at all. It just seems a bit inappropriate for such casual posts and isn't a good trend to get yourself into.

      That's my opinion at least.
