      Good evening.

Hi everyone and thank you for having me. I have taken some time to read the posts on the site and am quite impressed with the content. Here's a little bit about my dream history. I think I have decent dream recall. i often remember at least one dream a week without writing them down. I bought a journal though and I am going to start recording them every night from now on. What brought this about was the fact that i had a lucid dream about a week ago. There was no control involved but I did awaken in the dream and remember it vividly. I really can't wait to begin the techniques and though the forums have been great help any additional tips and advice is always welcomed through posts, emails, PM, or the like. Thanks again and it's great to be here.

      Welcome Vivid!

Try setting aside goals for your lucid dreams.
Start simple : Eg. look at your hands and find a mirror and look at it.

Having clear intent helps a lot - you lose concentration easily if you don't
Don't underestimate how silly you can be in a dream
