When will I know that Im far enough into WILD?

I hear, I started seeing blobs of colors, then I opened my eyes, how will I exactly know when to open my eyes? And if I open my 'eyes' after I started seeing blobs of color and such, will I definetly be in sleep paralysis, because I am not totally clear, is it impossible to go into the color blob state without being SP? So if I am seeing colors and thats the case, all I have to do is open my astral eyes?

Man I feel kind of dumb asking all these questions, but I like these forums, everyone here is so nice and non saracstic

meh. don't feel dumb. I'm quite new here myself. Though I'm still not that familiar with "WILD" I do understand the whole blurish-color stuff though. I
can do that even when awake whenever I close my eyes. It has to be one of the strangest things I swear, but pretty kewl though no doubt.

Random thought here, if you're sitting down, doing the whole get-your-eyes-closed thing for a moment and do experience the colors long enough, you can open your eyes and still have that kind of vision for a good few minutes. It's really interesting to look at people through that.

It depends on what you are trying to do. If you are trying to WILD, then you don't open your eyes. You just lie there focusing on your breathing and on the imagery. This should become increasingly intense and you will become paralysed. The imagery will flow and soon enough become a dream, and you will be there in a conscious state...

If you are trying to AP, which I am not a master of, I do believe you have to open your eyes somewhere along the line after your body is paralized. That or try to sit up or such...that question you might want to leave to an expert...

I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...

its best not to open your eyes during a wild. as soon as you get far enough into it, the dream scene will form under your eye lids and you will think that your eye lids are open. so never try top open your eyes!

Well, if you feel vibrations and really think you are entering WILD, lay still.

Dont open your eyes at least for a minute or so. If nothing happens, and

you still hearing/feeling stuff, open your eyes and PERFORM A RC on a

      digital clock!!!

And I noticed that focusing on my breathing dispels whole effect

Perhaps you just have to learn to let go..this is a problem of mine, I don't know when to stop concentrating on it, but it really does help me at first...
