Not sure I had a lucid dream or not

Well last night I went to sleep (duh) but then woke up again probably around 12 or 1 to go take a piss. By this time I had already begun dreaming. When I went back to sleep, my dreams continued, only were different. I was in my house and my parents were trying to get me to do something (something I didn't want to do i think). In my dream, I thought "F this, this is a dream" I went outside and decided to fly, which I did do after a little bit of work. Now i'm not sure if this was lucid, or if what happended in my dream was litterally just me dreaming that I was having a lucid dream. I have had this feeling before too. Anyone know what I just experienced?

*Oh, and if it helps at all, I wasn't able to stay "lucid" for long. I woke up. Middair.

Yeah i think you were. Congradulations on you sucess. All a lucid dream is that you are realize that you weredreaming. after that you just need to work on control.

but good job, and don't give up.

Thanks. I'm excited now that I've finally done it. I did all my work, kept a DJ, discussed and thought about my dreams, and it payed off. I wanna thank these forums, even though I wasn't a member, I browsed around to figure out how to get started. And the waking life for telling me about Lucid Dreaming. lol

Congrats on the lucidity, schuleralexf. The dreams will get longer and better if you keep practicing.

Oh yeah, and welcome to Dream Views.

      Trust me

It gets better when you can do it a lot and can experiment with it.
