      Shared dreams between partners

As an official newbie on here, i thought i'd ask a qustion.

I'm just curious about this one.

Is it possible if you are sleeping in the same bed as someone (or just really close) and you both enter a dream state at the same time, that you could share a dream?

I was just thinking, because our brains are constantly making electrical signals right?

And where there's electrical signals...theres a magnetic field isn't there?

Wouldn't these electrical signals cause discrepancies between one anothers magnetic field? and possibly correlate or inter twine? even in a small measure would it be possible to share these thoughts subconsiously?

Just a question, anyone got any theories?

Hi and welcome to Dream Views Skibbaz.

I've heard that shared dreaming is possible but I've yet to experience it. I'm no expert on electrical signals and magnetic fields but I'm thinking that the signals in the mind might be too minimal to affect the mind of someone nearby. If that could happen I think there would be greater instances of shared dreaming documentation. That's my 2 cents and it's probably wrong.

Again welcome and don't rub my face in my wrongnss.:p

Thanks, its nice being appreciated lol.

I see what you mean. It might have a mild influence, but i suppose that it if it did do anything, it probably wouldnt be noticable.

I just know that the missus' talks to me in her sleep, always good for a laugh. We've had similar dreams but never shared one.
