Thread: Questions & Such

hey, can you guys help me. i was attempting to WILD this morning. i got to the point where my body was stiff and tingly, but i couldnt get any further, i layed in that state for about 30 min waiting to start dreaming, but it didnt happen and i was getting annoyed after laying in that position for so long.

Unfortunately I can't help out with the question, being new my self also however I have my very own question to avoid clutter. If someone could just quote me and reply here, or even AIM me, that would be great :]

The problem:
You see, I hear about all my friends dreams [who don't LD] for example,

"Last night I was on top of a building then I jumped off and landed on a jet and I spoke Japanese while slaying a dragon, it was AMAZING"


Compared to me which on average are,

"Last night, I turned my PS2 on, then it broke. I was upset. Then I woke up."



Point being, my dreams aren't ever to vivid for the most part, of course the exception of forgetting them. But recently I've started logging, so maybe we'll see a difference. Anyone, could this himper my LD by any chance?

In my experience, boring dreams are actually far more likely to become lucid than wierd ones, so that may actually help you. In boring dreams, you aren't distracted by some fantastic plot, and you're usually more or less yourself, so you're more likely to remember to do reality checks and become lucid.
Most of my better lucid dreams started while doing something ordinary in my house, and the few that happen in the middle of unusual circumstances tend to be interrupted quickly by the dream's plot.
