      Hi,

They mean lucid as in a lucid dream. So a dream in which they were aware they were dreaming. Sometimes it's hard to know which dream was lucid or not, although it only happens to me if I don't wake up after the LD.
Oh and by the way, welcome to the forum!

There are many things you could do. You could try to stay concious while going to sleep, you could repeat a mantra which could emerge in a dream and make you lucid, you could prepare for waking up at night and trying some technique...

It's your choice. If you're new, you can start practicing your dream recall with dream journals and stuff.

It differs from person to person, so I can't tell exactly. There are also many different techniques. You just have to choose something, learn it and then try it.

oh that has happened to me like 30 times. Im like okay, time to wiggle my fingers. And it says do it when your about to fall asleep, but you feel awake. My advice is to just do it 20 seconds after you wake up. And yeah, good luck. Aim me later for help.
