1st lucid since joining

Okay, so last night I tried to WILD, but instead I just fell asleep. However, I did manage to DILD.

The dream stated out like a normal dream for me, but then I remembered my WILD attempt and became lucid. I couldn't control my surroundings or anything, but I could control my actions and spawn crap. It was really funny because I was able to shoot ducks out of my fingers...I can't really remember how that happened, I guess it must have had something to do with my dream, lol.

I had quite a few false awakenings. One happened when I was spinning: I decided to try out spinning, but then ended up in what seemed to be my bed. I was rolling around (hahahaha) when I decided to see if I could still shoot ducks and found that I could.

At another point, I just switched scenes all of a sudden to a school shooting. Some retarded scenie chick that I have in my lit class was killing everyone with a revolver. I was all like "yeah right, bitch!" and spawned a shotgun. After that I lost lucidity, but continued on with another dream.

honestly, I completely forgot about flying. I was semi lucid, so I didn't get too much of a chance to try anything out. But I had my fun for the night.

Hey, even a semi-lucid is progress, right?

Hopefully you can try to fly next time. Maybe you could utilize your duck power? Attach strings to them after you shoot them out of your fingers?

hehehe i remember my 1st flight... couldn't do it for a sec, then i used all my willpower and took off the ground... greatest feeling ever.

sadly, i am in a controlled LD dryspell. i get uncontrolled LDs a lot

Impressive.

I remember my first LD I had some element of control over (a few weeks ago). The moment I became lucid I told myself "HELL YEAH LETS FLY!", and tried lifting off. But I just stood there and nothing happened. Then I remembered reading somewhere on the forum about growing wings if you are having trouble flying, so I grew some wings and voila, it worked! yay.

Just out of curiosity, was it your first attempt at a WILD?

yeah, it was my first attempt. I've been far to tired latley to atempt another (school, make up work and such). I think I'll try one this weekend or something.
