Thread: Was this a LD or not? Help me out

In my dream I seem to remember calling the shots and observing me doing things. I remember cognitive thought and telling a few dream characters what to do and acting on that. I seemed to have an awareness. The dream would have continued but then I was woken up by my dog barking.

LucidLearner, based on your replies, I would say that since you were aware.. then you were lucid dreaming.

Out of curiousity.. did you ever say (or think) to yourself, "I'm dreaming"?. If so, then you were definately lucid.

And like eppy stated, you don't have to control a dream for it to be considered lucid (awareness is all that's required).
