If dreaming comes from entering REM cycles, then why do I have some of my most vivid dreams while napping? A long nap for me is only like 30-45 minutes max, and I thought it takes about 90 minutes to enter the first REM period. |

I think it has something to do with your mind already "working" while napping. As in when you sleep at night it needs to rest, but during the day it doesn't really need to rest, just relax. |
