      Hi everyone!

      I see no stickied introduction topic, so just saying hi.

      Although I've known about LD's for a while, I've just become interested in the subject a couple days ago, and found this site yesterday. I've signed up to receive the advice I need to master lucid dreaming for its fun purposes (flying and such) and useful purposes (rehearsal for reality). I also signed up to enable my two week countdown if I feel the need for the adoption program, especially if I'm making limited progress.

      As far as my personal experiences with lucid dreaming, the only LD I remember is from when I was 6 (I'm 16 now), although I've probably had other LD's in the past. Actually, it could have been one or two dreams depending on how you look at it. The night after the first lucid dream, I lucid dreamed my way back into the same dream, where I had ended the previous night.

      I attempted my first intentional LD last night, but just got stuck in sleep paralysis for 40 minutes, unable to drift completely into sleep. I learned the 61 point relaxation technique today, and plan to try to LD with that aid tonight.

      Regardless of my success (or lack thereof), I plan to keep at it until my technique is perfected, and I look forward to receiving important advice from the members of the community.

      Hi! I'm new too, and I actually remember having lucid dreams around that age as well - I hope we can both find back to that ability we had as children!
