      Good Morning.

      Good morning, my name's Fiducio.

I have known of Lucid Dreaming for some time now, since last year when I took psychology and briefly covered LD. It intrigued me, but soo after forgot all about it.

Out of complete randomness about three days ago I went to Borders, looked for a book on LD, and found nothing, so I found this site today.

I find remembering dreams tricky, and never could find out how to properly do it. Reading around this site, with tutorials and all, I am dancing around like this banana. --->

I do however have a few questions first. How long would it take for me to start being at state to gain lucidity? And are there any other good websites with more variations of each method?

      So EXCITED! Thanks.

Practice practice practice. Just read up on some of the threads and ask a lot of questions.

This is the best site you can find for luid dreaming.

I have always been good at clearly recalling my last dreams when I wake up, should I try to remember more?

Last night's was weird, but, if I would have had this knowledges last night maybe I could've slipped into one. I was driving. Just driving, noticing how big the birds were... They were enormous. But just kept going.

Haha. This is going to be fun.

Okay, so reading up last night I thought I would try to WILD, or at least induce sleep paralysis.

I succeeded in doing the second. It was quite an experience. I had never ever felt it before. I was able to put myself into a really relaxed state and gradually become numb, and it felt like my bed was sahking away from me. I kept trying to stay focused, but on transitioning i could only imagine torsos. I thought hypnogagic imagery. I focused in, and it felt like I started to fall violently. it felt like I hit my bed, opened my eyes, looked around and thought reality check. Only to find I had sharp boogers. Ouch.

Maybe next time... Had two wonderful dreams though.

      Designer Torsos, and "Tool Tools."

      There's always tonight.

Top o' the morning to ya laddey.

Well the Tutorials place has all the variations you need:

And with the amount of time until you get to a lucid state, I'm afriad no one can answer that as everyone is different. It may take a day, it may take a month but if you keep it up it will be soon.

Hey, welcome! Do you have a dream journal, either hand written or typed? That tends to increase recall tremendously.

Yes, I have a dream journal, it's also my sketchbook. When I write down stuff when I ifrst wake up, it's only a few keyords, then recall it later.

Except last night, I forgot to write it down... I woke up at 4 to try to WILD again, but didn't write down my last dream before I started. Oops. So now I can't recall it. What was even worse, my WILD attempt last night. I could not focus!!! I was so deep into SP, but could not transition into dreaming at all. I was up until 5.30 trying my best to focus, but couldn't. I started to feel the shaking I did the night before, but it stopped, and I just decided to sleep for two more hours...

      Bleh.

      Tonight I will attempt again.

      Welcome to DV!
The WILD method never worked for me yet, but drifting off to sleep after trying it sometimes induces a lucid dream! Good luck!

Well the first time I got close to WILD, but slipped right into a non-lucid dream. Oh well.

I know I can do this, and determined to do it.

It took me about 2 weeks I think. So about 2-4 weeks to gain lucidity. I don't know of any other good LD sites.
