      Attempting WILDs

Hey all, I just joined, I figured I should stop being a lurker and start posting.

Anyways, I think I've had one Lucid Dream a few months back, when I first started to get interested in LDs. I'm not sure if I could actually control what I was doing, but I know that I realised it was a dream.

Today I woke up a little early and decided to try a WILD. I figured that even if it is harder, I might just be weird and it might work for me. I was asleep for about 7 hours, then stayed up for a little while. I layed down, but nothing really happened. My one hand started to get tingly, but I think that was probably because I was lying on it. Some visions started to come to me, but I could still control my body and make it move. I tried for half an hour or so, but eventually gave up. Is there any way to keep this from happening?

a WILD is really hard... Its the most hardest induction method but possibly reaps the best results, since you wont shut down your logic side of the brain... (Atleast, thats what I think) I suggest you keep trying, the sleep paralysis is not something that has to happen, it didnt happen when I did my one and only WILD.

It was still Lucid whether you could control it or not.

      WELCOME HEAVENLY J-LO!!!!

The thing about WILD is that you cannot achieve it as long as you are concentrating in what is going on in the waking world. This works the same in the dream world. Sounds, light, feeling your body, etc are some of the things that will keep you grounded in both realities. What you must try to do is focus on the HI and everything that is not part from this physical plane, and that will make your body paralize and soon after you will enter the dream world.
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...
