Can Lucid dreams really be so real to the point where you question yourself if your dreaming? They run the continuum from extremely real to extremely unreal, just as normal dreams do. The funny thing about dreaming is that normally we assume we are awake even during the most outlandish dreams. A good solid realistic LD is unique in that everything feels completely real, but you know for certain that you are dreaming. This knowledge is a bit slippery, however. You can be sure one minute, and slowly lose grip on the certainty and forget about it all together, sliding right back into normal dreaming.
