      hello and question

hello im new and just wanted to say hi

i have always had very vivid dreams which i can almost always remember but about a week ago i was dreaming and suddenly it just dawned on me that i was dreaming and so i tried to change the scenario of the dream and it did for about a minute but then it went all murky and back to the randomness of a dream

i then decided to look up this topic and stumbled upon this site which had a lot of great information and tuturiols (thanks) .

and so to my question i have tried to wild twice now the first time nothing happened and i just fell asleep but the second time i started to feel different
and had some involuntary twitching and then suddenly i felt weightless as if i was floating but of course i got excited and it suddenly stopped i lay there for another while and the had to go to the toilet but when i tried to move it was like i was being weighed down and i felt very heavy and groggy and almost 90 minutes had passed which only felt like twnety. just wanted to know is this common and also is it good progress.

p.s sorry for the long post

      Welcome!
It's ok the post is not long, feel free to make post as long as you feel necessary. I think you either got very close to a WILD success, or maybe you actauly succeeded without knowing it: Maybe the part when you woke and wanted to go to the toilet but felt weighed down was actually a false awakening ( you were dreaming that you woke ). Make sure you learn about reality checks, because this is a way to find out if you are awake or dreaming.
In any case, I think you made great progress in a short time
