      I need help

I just read the entire website last night and it was great. Ive always thought that controlling your dreams would be cool but never knew you could. I have pretty good dream recall just last night i remembered 3 dreams pretty vividly. Durring the dreams it felt as though i could control them but once i realized it was a dream i woke up. What can i do to prevent this? And what would you say in your opinion is the easyist method to control your dreams?

      Thank You

maybe you got too excited, usually when that happens you wake up. next time you know your lucid don't really move or try to think to hard and just observe your surroundings and do a reality check. look at billy bobs thread on dream controlling it helps a lot.

I had the same problem when I first started. My problem was that I would become very excited when I became lucid, and the excitement woke me up. If it's the same for you then just try to stay calm, the more dreams like this you have, the more used to it you should get and you'll become less and less likely to wake up.

To control your dreams you just have to have belief in yourself, and fully understand that as the dream is a product of your own imagination you can control it as you wish.

Well it isn't all about control. You have to realize you are dreaming. Just keep a dream journal, that is a good start for someone who just joined today.
