      Was this real?

Last night was like my third night trying to go lucid, so ridiculously unexperienced and unpracticed.

I tried and as I fell asleep i kept concentrating on being aware.

What i can remember from there on, is I remember remembering a dream, I remember being dreaming talking to someone I know about being lucid and I remember sort of becoming aware I was dreaming.

From what I've read this seems stupidly quick to gain that kind of level, so is there any chance that it was sort of placebo.. or I imagined it whilst half asleep?

Basically, is it even possible to do that after such little practice?

Yeah it's definantly possible. I'm almost positive I entered sleep paralysis earlier today and today is about the third day I've been trying to have a LD. I just got too excited and jolted awake. Everyone is unique so the rate at which they get their first LD can be very different

Carousoul ... for you to achieve LD's you need to realize that it is you and only you who can gain control over it. Use your Will power , your reasoning and give it your attention as you start to gain LD.
Once you realize this, i guarantee you that you will accomplish the feet's that you desire
Tip: once you gain a LD, and it will start to disappear just look at your own hands for a moment. And everything will come back is it was a vivid LD.

Im sure its possible,My first attempt at a LD, i was thinking wow i need to try to move. I woke up as soon as i tried to rub my hands together. Had two more that i tried to move or do a RC. It is going onto my third night for me, I will just keep going at it. Probably going to take awhile before i can stay in my dream for more than 2 seconds after i realize its a dream.
