      Super Vivid Dreams

I have super vivid dreams, so vivid I sometimes do not realize it was a dream. My dreams will have plots and sub-plots with reoccurring characters and consequences for actions. Sometimes I will do things in my dream that will affect something that happens what seems like hours later in a completely new dream. Right when I first wakeup I sometimes remember my dreams like it was something that just happened to me in real life, full of details like peoples names, places we were at, the color of peoples clothes, layouts of places that do not change as the dream goes on. For example I might leave my keys in a spot in my house and they will be in that same spot much later in the dream if I am looking for them. I was wondering if anyone else dreams like this?

As for lucid dreams I used to have them a lot when I was younger (Middle School) but I did not even know what a lucid dream was until later. I was probably A level 7-8 and maybe some aspects of level 9, I could control myself and make somethings happen but other things were out of my control, it was a long time ago I do not remember very well.

Recently I have not been actively trying to have lucid dreams, however I have done some reality checks while in dreams and awake but I have not been successful, I usually pass the RC in my dreams because they are so vivid. One thing I have heard is to read something and see if it makes sense and then read it again and see if it still makes sense, I have tried that but it almost always makes perfect sense both times. One time I went around in a dream thinking it was an odd day but that there was NO WAY it was a dream because everything was so real, I woke up and kicked myself.

Something more recent that has happened to me a few times is that I realize I am dreaming but it never occurs to me to try and take control.

I also sometimes start to dream before I fall asleep and keep dreaming after I wake up, it is very strange and nothing really makes sense until I fully wake up, the dream world and the real world merge in some kind of fog. Sometimes if I fall back asleep my dream will continue where I left off.

One more odd thing that sometimes happens is that I will listen to a song before bed and wake up with the song still in my head, like I was humming it all night long in my sleep.

Well that is all for now I am sure I forgot something, I would appreciate any comments or similar experiences.
