I wanna wake up for real

Hello, I am new around here. All my life I have very high quality dreams. But I never have a lucid dream. Is the lucid dreaming first step to dark side (ocult, devil) or someting like that?

Because I belive in God and my family ar christians. So I have some fear of lucid dreaming.

Whoa ... DEVIL?! I hope not. I too am a Christian, and as far as I am aware Lucid Dreaming is all in your mind - it is just dreaming - no magic or anything!

Some peeps on this forum are into the supernatrual - me - I think I'll stay away from that for now, (it's supposed to be limited to one forum somewhere below I think).

Read up on LD on the core dreamviews.com website - and you'll see its not that scary.

      Welcome to the forums BTW!

I think the reason that lucid dreaming is often viewed as something mysterious is it occurs when its dark and people think of bad things when it is night. Someone who is into the occult or interested in that kind of thing is more likely to have heard about lucid dreaming by surfing around on those kind of websites. I wouldn't say that you have to worry though. All it is is knowing youre dreaming so you can do what you want. You don't have to do all the crazy stuff people talk about on here if they go against your morals (ie killing people). People who may not know about what LDing really is may try to tell you its not Christian but I don't think theres andything to worry about.

All I can say is that you need to free your mind up out of the confines of threats and fear tactics. Devils and demons do not exist unless you choose to believe in them. Lucid dreaming is not for "confined thinkers"; you will just scare yourself to death with all the thoughts you create. Learn to relax and except all possibilities.

In this day and age, your own mind is your ownly source of absolute privacy. This makes it a safe playground to do whatever you want. Nobody else can invade this particular place (yet, anyway!), and certainly not demons. It's 100% YOU in there, which makes it simply another form of self-reflection. Self-reflection is certainly no sin, at least not in any religion I've ever heard of.

      Welcome!

Well...LUCID DREAMING can do you many good.
      Especially these 2 -

1.Improving your confidence and conquering your fear.
      2.Releasing your Inner Demon.

There's nothing sinful about LD, it all came your brain.
      Have fun!

Hey dont be scared. Its all in your head. You control it. Now if you are really religious, you might have a moral problem with what you do in those dreams. The devil is not tempting you to lucid dream.
Why does it seem so hard to wake up now and see who we really are?
