I'd guess that they are stemming from the fact that you've just undergone several changes and - while you say you're "much more sure of yourself as a result" - there's always going to be some level of doubt or concern that comes along for the ride.

I'm sure you'll find that your concerns will work themselves out. But in the meantime, if you get the hang of lucid dreaming, you can use them to turn your dream life around and have more positive nocturnal experiences.

If this is what you seek then you've come to the right place. Make yourself at home and don't be afraid to ask any questions you may have.
Thanks Oneironaught, & you're carvings are awesome! You're probably right about my doubts! I was diagnosed as bipolar for 8 yr. after a very difficult life, & last Sept. found out I actually had toxic anger syndrome. It's turned my life around - no more drugs, just re-education, not easy after all these years. I'm going to try & learn more about how to control my dreams, but think it will take time. You're right about the doubts, I know I'm not the person I thought I was for all my life, but it's sometimes hard to believe I actually have some worth! Positive reinforcement is the key, methinks!

Welcome to the forums. Have a look around and you can learn a great deal about LD'ing and other dream related things.

Thank you all, I have started looking around & think I can really learn a lot. I sure do have trouble, though, with concentrating on telling myself to remember my dreams - it takes me a long time to fall asleep & concentrating on only one thing for that long is a formidable task. Don't know quite how to get around this!
