      Lightbulb making love in a lucid dream

      When I tend to make love in a dream, it only lasts about 2-5 seconds , is there any to make this last any longer

      Yup.. don't orgasm!

      Seriously, I've noticed that the quickest way for my lucid dream to end is to have a physical encounter which ends in (gasp) orgasm (blush).

      When I reach that "peak of ecstasy".. I don't know if it's the intensity of the feeling.. but I can never make my dreams last beyond that point.

      It's literally "I come and it goes".. no time for spinning, hand rubbing or a cigarette.. I just wake up!

      I take it you mean you wake up, right?

      Anyway, it's a thing that comes with practice I guess, as you learn to make your LDs more stable, it should last longer. Try not to get overly excited, remind yourself that it's not real and a dream while erm, in the act. That way the dream should last a little longer.

      Just keep a level head.

      This is too much.
      I would like to see some female responses first. Your heart may be in the right place tekmo, but 2-5 seconds? You better make the most of that if it is       making love.

      It is a mental thing. In real life too.
      Try to think of something else. Something that is either repulsive or takes a challenge to think about. i.e. making love to your _______? or paying chess in your head.
      Once you reach a certain degree of an orgasm it is no longer in your hands (no pun intended) But your body works like a reflex if you go to far.
      So try that approach.

      LD Counter (as of 07.25.07) = 5 (2 WILDs)
      Short-term goal: Recall three full dreams a night for a full week.
      Long-term goal: Have three LDs per week for one month.
      Longer-term goal: Have one six-hour LD every night! (Shooting too high? We'll see.)
      Waking life goal: Round up some NPSG equipment to study my own sleep patterns.

      Having sex is something that you do in normal life too, so it's not something that reminds you that you are dreaming. Keep telling yourself that and also check out the surroundings, don't get too caught up in what you are doing.

      The more you worry about waking up early, the more likely you will. In this sense, it draws a parallel to a real life phenomenon.

      One might call this "Premature Retract-lucidation."
