REM: Rapid Eye Movement |
Ok, i've searched alot of threads and I don't recall anything about this. Ok, lately i've been doing WILD's and during the day just to make sure everything is right ect. Well, I can't keep my eyes close without twitching. It has gotten better, but boy, once colors and shapes take place im twitching non stop! I also read somewhere where you shouldnt force your eyes shut... |

REM: Rapid Eye Movement |
Oh, I guess I was very unsuspecific. Sorry. I mean before I even start getting close to REM I do it. Like right after I close my eyes, my eyelids start shutting and clossing slightly. After the color comes they still do it, but faster. |
No problem! |
Yeah, you hit it right on. Sounds just like I am doing wrong! Thanks! |
Also, whenever I am "trying" to keep my eyes closed, I notice a kind of twitching. That's probably not my eyes though, it's probably my eyelids twitching. |
REM is actually more like normal eye movements (looking left and then right maybe 2-3 times per second). It's more like looking around, not your eyes fluttering all over the place. I'd say Xyn is experiencing more like a muscle spasm or twitch for no particular reason. |

LD Counter (as of 07.25.07) = 5 (2 WILDs)
Short-term goal: Recall three full dreams a night for a full week.
Long-term goal: Have three LDs per week for one month.
Longer-term goal: Have one six-hour LD every night! (Shooting too high? We'll see.)
Waking life goal: Round up some NPSG equipment to study my own sleep patterns.
Well he was indeed right. After WBTB'ing I could easily keep my eyes closed. I find Wild'ing is pretty hard though. But thats another story. |
I've started the WILD technique as well and the same thing happened to me. If you rest your eyes for a day it shouldn't be bad when you try it again. I finally am seeing dream images when my body falls asleep so keep trying and don't focus too hard or you'll get headaches and all that jazz. |
