First up, welcome to Dream Views1

So you want help lucid dreaming with techniques that aren't those three?

Ok, first up the essential lucid aid, no one can be without... the reality check. Reality checks are exactly what they sound like, checking to see if what around you is reality. Get into the habbit of asking youself if you're deaming every now and then, then perform a silple test. Info on these can be found here http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ead.php?t=4470

Getting lucid in your dreal is good, so be sure to check out the DILD tutorial http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ead.php?t=9423

OTher techniques people seem to like are HILD http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ead.php?t=6214 and VILD http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ead.php?t=7469

      Hope these help you.

Thank you very much for the information. However, I already knew to do reality checks because my sister (weelilhazel) taught me.
Some are born lucid, others have lucidity thrust upon them.

Welcome to the forum darkwolf, it must be great to have a sister to compare lucid dreaming with. You guys can really help each other out.

Well, the dream journal is like a technique. It's quite the tool for lucid dreaming. You wake up either after each dream period or in the morning and write down anything you can remember from your dreams, events, characters, emotions, thoughts ect.

After a while your recall will improve, help you to remember dreams and possible lucids that you may have forgotton. Also after a while you will notice some common events, these ae called dream signs, if you do reality checks everytime you see these/or think of these dream signs in real life. It'll eventually cross over into the dream helping you to become lucid.
