      Exclamation Ok...my problem with WBTB.

I understand that WBTB takes advantage of the later REM periods.

My problem is that after I wake up and go pee, when I return to my bed I'm no longer tired or sleepy...which is just weird. I don't know if it's because I'm ready for WILD and I'm thinking about it to much but things never used to be like that.

Back when school was in session I would wake up at 7 to start getting dressed, occasionally I would wake up at 6 or 6:30...thing is I would immediantly be able to return to sleep, why is it that it no longer works for me?

Maybe because you're getting up too close to your normal wake-up time and your body is simply ready to start the day.

Try waking up 3 to 4 hours after you go to sleep and see if that makes a difference.

I have the same problem, during school I go to bed at 12 and wake up at 6, and I'm literally falling asleep when I wake up. In the summer I go to bed at 1, wake up at 7, and I'm fine . Maybe it's got to do with not wanting to go to school
