Tagg reporting in

I have been trying to have a Lucid Dream the past two nights, so I am not that worried yet, it'll come.

I have recalled eight dreams in the past two nights to varying degrees of completion. I have been meditating for the past year or so, so I am going to try and champion the WILD technique but have started to try reality checks in the hopes I'll catch on to when I'm dreaming as well. I would like to go and explore past events with my lucid dreaming, like the sinking of the Titanic or the explosion of the Hindenburg. I don't know how unrealistic that goal is, but I'm willing to try. Right now my primary goal is just having a lucid dream of any sort and remembering it afterwards. Looks like this place is a wealth of information and I shall see how long I can stick around. Nice meeting you all.

Hey there Tagg, we've already talked in chat, but welcome once again.

Your idea of exploring past events really intrigues me, it's not something I'd thought of doing myself, but now would really love to something similar. It would be very much possible with enough dream control.

We also have plenty of experience WILDers here who I'm sure could lend you a hand if you have any trouble, if you have any questions about it or anything else, just shout.

Welcome to Dream Views Tagg.
Just keep on practicing and you'll get the hang of WILDing soon enough. I like the idea of exploring past events via Lucid Dreams but I don't think you'd actually visit those through dreams. That sounds like it would be close to Out of Body Experiencing to me. But it's still a great idea, you never know what twists or turns your mind will throw at you while you're exploring a past event.
