      My first post.

Hey everyone, this is my first post. I'm currently amazed, I had never heard of this before today. How long did it take you all to get your first LD after you started trying the stuff in this forum?

      Hey New_Lucid_Dreamer! to DreamViews

This site is awesome and i'm sure you will have your first lucid dream very soon, it took me a few weeks to have my first lucid dream but some people have achieved it the night they joined or what not. Lucid Dreaming is amazing and you can learn so much about yourself during the process of learning. If you want to ask me any questions send me a PM because i'm happy to help

Hey there, welcome to the forum.

My first self induced lucid dream came the night I first started trying though it was short and I had little control, but that was before I joined the forum. Since joining my lucid dreaming frequency has shot up thanks to my extra exposure to the subject.

Have you ever had a lucid dream yourself in the past without knowing what it was?

In any case, feel free to ask if you have any questions.

      Hi, welcome to Dream Views.
I think I had my first intended lucid dream about a month or so after officially becoming a member. I've had lucid dreams all throughout my life but I didn't intentionally try to dream until finding this little gem of a site.

Well the only dream i can really remember sort of controlling was when i was around 9-10ish i was watching tv and i saw these raptors on a tree at the zoo and all of a sudden one popped out of my tv, i got scared but then said "you aren't really here" and it disappeared. thats my only story that i can remember of controlling it, but recently ive had a rather vivid dream where i had cancer and like 3 days to live, but i dont think thats a lucid dream, just vivid.

My first LD came 90 days after I discovered LD, it was a spontaneous DILD.

I had my first lucid dream the first time I leared about them, because I stood up all night reading about them. I find that reading posts before going to sleep generally increases my chances to DILD

      Hy there, welcome

I have been lucid dreaming since I was a child, so about 13/14 years, and even now I am still learning and amazed at what more this forum has opened my eyes too.

      Good luck on your quest
