i'm back and need a bit of help

I was on this site before because i was very interested in training during my sleep and "doubling my life". But now i'm back because i want to do something with my life but can't seem to move my butt. I always end up convincing my self not to do something and i want to kill that counter talk and i want to gain some will power. Lucid dreaming in my opinion has lots of benifits for learning will power because you need it to have a lucid dream. I think i have a lot of potential in my life because life is simple because of choice. I used to think nothing of what i've done in my life, but as i've matured i've noticed i've done what the average person considers difficult without thought. I've walked kilometers in blizzards, i've gone through forests in the dark alone, i've traveled distances that seem to far for todays "standards" i guess you call it on foot, i've delt with the "school bully" by communication, all by will. Picking the better of every situation and moment is almost impossible for people to do, stress would build up, but imagine what could get done if a person could. I want to see if i could beat that by lucidity. Don't know were im going with this but i would like to know were to start with lucidity?

      Welcome back Pk.sage!

Yes lucidity is a great challenge and it is very rewarding.

To start with lucidity, you can go to the main site ( http://www.dreamviews.com ) and read the information by pressing the links on the side panel.

Basically you start by writing a dream journal to improve dream recall and find your dream signs. Then you start to get used to do Reality checks, and start trying a few techniques, such as WBTB with MILD.

Feel free to ask any question you might have in the forum.

ya i've got a dream journal with about 13 or so dreams recorded, i never used to dream at all but it took me like 2 weeks and i was having like 5 a week. Then I stopped and the dreams went away but now i'm more dedicated and am having them again . One technique i've been trying a lot is the wild, i really like it. I get the relaxing and SP and always get into a LD but they only last for like 10 second. Is there any way to keep them going?

It sounds like when you enter the dream state when trying the WILD technique you become excited that you are lucid and even though you may not show it it builds up, a good way is to sit down or even stand in the dream and clear your mind and focus on something, make everything clearer and make it clear that you are in control and you are the master of your dreams, at the end of the day you are. Just think positive and be positive!
