I only seem to do them when I can't convince myself it is a dream. So I will be semi lucid, and think it must be a dream and RC just to confirm. And I think this is what most people do anyway. |

Yea, when it comes to RC I don't think it's enough to do it randomly. You need a dream sign that goes along with it so it can TRIGGER your subconcious to do a RC. |

As the others have said, try to do them when you come accross your dream signs, that helps a lot. Doing RCs randomly throughout the day of course helps. I've made it a habit of mine to do them when I see my hands (my hands being slightly deformed is a dream sign of mine anyway), so when I look down I'll do a check such as counting my fingers or trying to stick my finger through the palm of my hand. Try to make reality checks a real habit in day-to-day life and even moreso when you spot dream signs. |

I had the same problem as you. Naturally I'm just not very aware in my dreams and have only occasionally questioned if I was dreaming. |
