      Dusty dreams

Hello all! I read Stephen LaBerge's book back when it was first published, had some lucid dreams, scared myself in one and have had trouble getting back into it. I'm hoping for a fresh start...haven't really thought out any goals yet.

      Hi, welcome to Dream Views!!!

May I ask how you scared yourself in one of your lucids? You just have to keep in mind that nothing that is happening in your lucid dream affects your waking body. It's all a product of your brain... no matter how real it may seem, nothing in a lucid dream can hurt you.

Anyway, a good goal to start out would be increase your dream recall if it isn't already good. Maybe attempt to recall at least one dream per night by the next couple of weeks. Good luck on your second go at it.... feel free to ask any questions you may have!

      See you around!

      Thanks, tyrantt23!

I really need to drag out my old dream journals - I was in my bed and it was just really dark. I heard the sound of laughter in the corner - not nice laughter - coming from a dwarf. I started thinking, "Wake up, Wake up, Wake up!" I also remember a bolt of light streaking into the bedroom that seemed to banish the evil feeling but it's been so long, I'm not sure I'm mixing this up with another lucid dream I had. Since I'm cleaning out my storage building, I'll probably be able to find my old journals - too much clutter!

Ah, if you do find those old journals, they should prove to be a very interesting read!

I'm always amazed at how clear the memory of my dreams come back when reading journals from a year or two ago.
