Finally After Weeks Of Trying To Wild I Mild Ha

Last night after many weeks of trying to WILD I MILD'ed insted!

This was my first lucid dream and was an AWESOME experience even though it lasted about a minute

I was dreaming that my friend was trying to lucid dream and I realised I was dreaming because my field of vision got really wide so I ran literally 200 miles per hour though a window and back. And flew for about 10 seconds. I tried shouting ' clarity ' but it did not work. I also tried rubbing my hands but all to no avail. The dream started to fade then and I just woke up! Oh well ha

I will carry on trying to WILD because isnt it better when you actually get lucid that way?

And now you know it is REAL!!!!

Do some searching on stabilizing dreams now. Look particularly for stuff posted by BillyBob_101 - he's helped me out a lot in stabilizing and controlling dreams.

Hi Will, congrats on your MILD!

I will carry on trying to WILD because isnt it better when you actually get lucid that way?
I'd say WILDs are fun as far as a means to getting to a lucid dream - but they're not necessarily better. Some find it to be more of an extra experience. Like the transition from wake to dream is one experience, and the lucid is another. Others find the moment they realize they're dreaming exciting enough.

Either way, you end up in the same place - a lucid dream!

      Congratulations on the lucid dream!

As Joe said, WILDs can be interesting emperiences in themselves, so I'd it's worth carrying on with both, they both offer different ways to reach the goal.
