      Hello again.

Relax... your thread isn't being ignored because it hasn't been replied to in 12 minutes. This is a big community, but you are here at a relatively slow time - early morning in the West.

A Lucid Dream is a dream in which you gain and maintain consciousness during the dream. That is the whole purpose of this site, from the front page through the vast majority of this forum.

You might start with the front page: http://dreamviews.com

Read through the basic info up there, then try digging into some of the tutorials or (my favorite thing to do) head into the Dream Journal section and read some first-hand experiences with lucid dreaming.

You won't find a better world anywhere to answer that question and learn how to do it yourself.

      Hey and welcome DV~~

So you want to know what lucid dreaming is?
      Here is my short definition.
      Lucid dreaming –
Lucid dreaming is when you have a dream and you know you’re dreaming.
      For instance:
So you’re in the bed sleeping. You are also dreaming about a walking computer. The moment you see the computer start to talk you realize that what you see is fake. And usually once you realize it’s unreal the idea strikes your brain that you are dreaming. That experience is what we call lucid dreaming.
