      Thumbs up WILD Success

Okay. Last Night I had my first WILD. Although it was short, LDs are supposed to get longer in "time" I recall reading. It took me quite a few tries but I faced a problem. After I felt my arms go heavy, My vision zoomed in and out, in and out, and I felt a vigorous rocking motion. It kept on happening as I knew I was nearing Dreamstate, but I kept feeling a tension in my chest, I felt I had to take a deep breath, and disrupted the SP. Although I did try alternating my rythem (tricky word to spell, cant find a spellchecker here?!), I just couldn't loosen the tension in my chest. Is there any way to get around this...block. It was then after this I decided to get angry and go down grab a drink when I realised...I'm dreaming?! I will not bore the forumgoers to death and post the depressingly bad LD, will leave that fo another time I think .. Big wall of text for simple question. How can I deal with 1) drooling when I am trying to relax, and 2)this tension which grabs me every five minutes. ~ It Smee again

Hey Smee, congratulations on the sucess with your WILD. Okay i think that when you are trying to WILD try breathing through your mouth and that will allow lots of air to come in and out and hopefully dry up your mouth, another thing to do is to ignore it, its only there if your aware of it, just ignore it. I'm not sure about the tension but just try your best to relax and control your breathing nice and slowly, i'm afrai i can't suggest much else because i cannot relate to the experience. Anyways i'm happy that you achieved it! I wish you many more WILDS

Just position you head so tha the drool goes down your throat instead. I personnally find it hard to get a balance of not letting drool build and not letting my mouth get too try. So get a drink of water before you do it and tilt your head back.
Who needs skill when you have luck?

Well done Smee! Getting a WILD done is great. They're insanely hard, so give yourself a big pat on the back for that one.

      Smile All good

Going is good . Haven't had anymore WILDS though I'm afraid, I just keep drifting away into sleep and having to recognise a Dream Sign. Well. every technique is as good as another if it works good. Just afraid the stress that is school will upset me as the new term starts but heh. I don't like early nights much. Peace out ~ Smee

I'm sure soon enough you'll have another WILD. And if not, there are so many variations on every tecnique there is, so don't worry, you'll figure it out. Also, your worry about not being able to LD'ing during school...hogwash! Sometimes I find when your mind is occupied by other things, as opposed to dreams, as ironic as it sounds...you can have some pretty interesting dreams...

Anyway, have many more, and the best of luck.
