Thread: Weird Dream!! Im a newb :/

Ok so i had a super weird dream last night. I was dating this girl and she lived beside a big fenced in field. Attached to the top of the fence was a moving sidewalk or people mover made out of wood and leather. At the first of the dream the girl i was dating and i broke up and i started dating her best friend. We will call her Jill just for fun Well Jill's dad owned the field with the people-mover fence. He asked me to come help him fix it cause it had broken down. So we go to the machine room and we start to work on the people-mover machinery. Then the man began to convulse and fell on the floor. His face then came off and his eyes began to pop. His daughter came to see him and at the moment she saw him she began to convulse as well and her face came off and her eyes began to pop. For some reason i felt as though i needed to fix the people-mover. So i began to work as they were convulsing. I fixed it and their faces and eyes returned to there body and everything was ok. What the crap does that mean??? Can anyone help? any suggestions would be great.

I'll give it a shot at interpreting, be aware that what i say could be wrong.

I think that what this dream showed was that you let things get out of hand sometimes and you also sometimes leave the situation and it develops as a result of you not doing anything and the only way you can stop this from happening is by resolving the issues when they begin. I'll give an example of what i'm saying.

Say you had a girlfriend, then you began cheating on her with someone else by accident, well basically i am saying you would need to tell your girlfriend that you had a thing with another girl the day it happened, not allow things to escalate and hope that they will sort themselves out. Because at the end of the day you will not always be able to sort things out after you have left them too long.

That was just an example, i hope my interpretation was right to some degree, lol, let me know though if i was accurate enough.

well the example was good but i am not sure what i could have left unsettled. I don't have a girlfriend so that cant be it. I am not really satisfied with my job, but i don't really need to fix anything (i have been looking for other jobs but havn't found one yet). It was just a really weird dream at a random time. Maybe i left something unfinished without me knowing it or subconsciously i don't know. But that is a great start thanks

Well this interpretation does not have to mean that there is a current event in your life that it applies to, it could be just mean about your life in general, it is something that you may do when encountering such situations and you tend to deal with it later rather than earlier. Dreams don't always tell us about current events, they can tell us about ourselves and our lives as a whole if you read into them.

Hey there, to the forum! Now that weird dream, I'm really not sure about it.

Welcome, weird dream indeed... Personaly, I don`t believe that dreams have any meaning. I think that they are just your subconscious reliving past experiences in a jumbled up manor. Most of the time, when I think about it, I can «connect the dots» (damn this french keyboard!) and figure out what real events triggered the content of my dreams. Sometimes they are barely related at all (can`t think of an example right now...), so you have to think outside the box. I do believe, however, that some (mostly recurring) dreams can be interpreted. Stuff like nightmares, running dreams, embarrassing dreams...

true i am not sure that dreams have much meaning either but if they do i would like to know what it is haha. thanks though that makes a lot of sense
